Ivan Li Sing-yeung, analyst from Tung Shing Securities, said mainland investors may not be interested in Hong Kong stocks with large market caps, as they could have already invested in them through the Shanghai stock connect.
He cited IT service provider DC Holdings (0861), a spin-off from Lenovo (0992), as an example. It currently has a market capital of HK$7.812 billion.
